We’re Hiring: Talent Acquisition and Development Director

SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition and Development Director to build our internal recruiting, on-boarding and training programs from the ground up. This role reports directly to the CEO/co-founders and requires an enormous amount of leadership and ingenuity as well as industry knowledge, strategic vision and a perennial ability to make stuff happen.

PROVEN - Our Culture - 12 Things graphicThis is a new position within our organization, and the person we hire will be expected to identify, prioritize, design and execute key initiatives with minimal supervision or guidance. This person will also assume a unique role within the company’s Leadership Team and will be expected to provide thought leadership and industry-specific expertise at an executive level.

In other words, we’ll need you to know your $hit. The ideal candidate will have at least a few years of related experience under their belt and a demonstrated desire to grow within this field. Some recruitment experience is required. Some leadership and/or management experience is required. Direct staffing industry experience, while not required, is a major plus.

In just seven whirlwind years, we’ve grown from seven original founders to a 200-person community of high-performance Recruiters, Account Managers, Consultants, and BD professionals spanning offices in San Diego, Los Angeles, Northern California and Washington, DC. We are now looking for an “elite” Talent Acquisition and Development professional who will make this happen.

 

ROLE

The Director of Talent Acquisition and Development will meet the organization’s talent needs, while increasing the presence and knowledge of PROVEN as a preferred employer.  S/he will drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and training and cultural integration strategies across multiple functional areas and geographies, ensuring that PROVEN is hiring the best possible talent for internal and consulting roles with our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full cycle recruitment with a percentage in a team lead or management role.
  • Demonstrated experience with the implementation of innovative recruitment tools and techniques, technologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking software and MS Office applications required.
  • Functional knowledge of fair employment practices, employee relations, and global compensation and benefits.
  • Ability to develop business relationships, provide outstanding service, identify top talent, and understand cultural differences.
  • Proven leadership and change management skills; ability to influence others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Presentation skills will also come in handy.
  • English fluency is required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
